Apple Arugula Flatbread with Prosciutto and Bleu Cheese
Flatbread topped with apple butter, thinly sliced apples, prosciutto, bleu cheese, and arugula.
- 1 flatbread (homemade or store bought)
- 1/4 cup apple butter
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 apple, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup bleu cheese crumbles
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar or balsamic reduction
- 2-3 Prosciutto slices
Preheat the oven to 450º F.
Prepare your flatbread according to the recipe or packaging instructions. Before topping, brush the top with a thin layer of oil.
Spread the apple butter across the flatbread. Add half the mozzarella and apple slices, then the remaining mozzarella and bleu cheese crumbles.
Bake the flatbread for 5 minutes - just long enough for the cheese to melt and apples to soften.
Remove from the oven. Top with arugula, torn prosciutto slices, more bleu cheese crumbles, and balsamic vinegar.
Slice and enjoy!
