Thank you so much for sharing your story. 2015 has been unbelievably hard for me and while I’m not ready to share my story yet (I have been seeing a therapist), I am so thankful you shared yours. It’s a great reminder that it’s okay to put myself first.

Thank you for your kind words, Elizabeth! It’s ALWAYS okay to put yourself first. Taking that first step isn’t always easy, but I’m so glad you did. You’ll be in my thoughts! Thanks for reading. 🙂

I admire you so much for sharing your story. Yes, therapy is for everyone. There are so many people out in the world not sharing what is going on behind closed doors. It’s devastating.

Thank you so much for reading, Ashlee! It really is devastating. I understand being afraid to open up and talk about hard experiences, but it really is the best thing you can do to start healing. You don’t have to stay in therapy forever, either. Just as long as you need to! That’s what I did.

Wow. This is wonderful. I am in my 40s, and in therapy for the first time ever outside of pastoral counseling. I have had a lot of loss in my life the past few years, and after losing my brother in law in July very suddenly, I needed help. It has been really a Godsend. Thanks for being open about needing help. It will help others who are afraid to.

Thank you so much for sharing, Lynne. It’s wonderful that you sought therapy and I’m so glad to hear it’s helping you. I always believe that talking about things with someone, anyone, is better than keeping things to yourself. You’re in my thoughts. Thanks for reading. 🙂
